Quest of the Vexed is the seventeenth episode of Mysticons. It first aired in the United States on December 03, 2017 at 8:30 am on Nickelodeon.
Synopsis[]
Emerald gets increasingly frustrated with Arkayna bossing her around, but instead of voicing her anger, she bottles it up using a service called Vex-Away. When a canister breaks, the condensed anger spills out into the city, infecting all the citizens with inner fury of their own.

- Malvaron's secret and mutual crush on Princess Arkayna is proven, as he admits to Doug that she is "adorable when she's ruthless" and his password being her name. Additionally, Princess Arkayna finally admits that she does like the middle-level astromancer, a romance which is finally explored for the first time in Episode 28.
- Zarya is seen firing two lightning-like arrows at once for the first time.
- Princess Arkayna utilizes her bright green Dragon Bracer twice; whereas in "The Coronation" it was said that bracers could be used only once.
- Piper practices yoga for her relaxation time.
- Yelling at the Vex-Away commercial to "just stop" indicates that Emerald broke the fourth wall and spoke to the viewer.
- Second appearance of Centaur Park, its wood sprites and pint-sized male centaurs.
- Being a spoiled princess, Arkayna Goodfey is quite obvious and ignorant of the feelings of those close to her; going on to boss them around or complete ignore their attempts to catch her attention. In this case, her best friend Emerald; and eventually Proxima Starfall whom she supped to be there for and love as a sister, even after it was revealed that the orphan mage was never her long-lost twin to begin with.

- This is the first time that Emerald broke the fourth wall by asking the TV to stop the Vex-Away commercial.
- Emerald is the only Mysticon who does not use her mystical Unicorn Bracer.
- It is revealed that, in Gemina, one can literally bottle up his or her rage and fury in metal canisters.
